Low Burgage A quiet Low Burgage basking in the early spring sunshine one morning. The photographer is standing in the middle of the road at Gate End. In the left foreground is a window of the Bay Horse Inn, with the maltkiln pushing out into the roadway part way down Low Burgage. Some of the industrial buildings close to where the railway station was built are two thirds of the way down the road, and three masts of boats can be seen in the Haven with the main building of the boatyard the dark grey shape, with the hills of Yorkshire just visible. |
